We truly enjoy creating Grateful Dead imagery and embrace all of our extended Grateful Dead family and the culture that surrounds us.

There is just something about the Grateful Dead. There is a whole culture of music, art, travel, food, and business just in the parking lot. I always described it to those unfamiliar as a circus for nomads. I love that the grateful dead did things their way and allowed folks to record live shows and share them. The deep culture that was created around this epic band is not easily understood or embraced by the common artist. Here at Cosmic Tattoos, we consider fellow deadheads extended family. We fully embrace and understand the Grateful Dead and welcome all deadheads to stop in even just to say hi because we love meeting new family. The more customary imagery, the Steal your face, Bertha skull, Terrapin turtles, Dancing bears, etc are obvious and wonderful choices for designs. But we are also able to turn your wild ideas, or your favorite songs into beautiful images as well. Our head artist Emily Hefley is the Grateful Dead guru in-house, but we also welcome our Deadhead artist friends from across the country to guest spots now and then.
