Welcome to Cosmic Tattoos

Cosmic Tattoos is one of the oldest tattoo studios in Charlotte and has proudly served the community since 2002. We are open Wednesday through Sunday from noon til 8 pm. We take both appointments and walk-ins.

The tattoo shop is owned by Emily Hefley, Emily has been tattooing since 1998. Emily’s art is featured in the book Scratch Art, a collection of scratchboard art by Tattoo Artists. She is also featured in a new book Gratefully Tattooed, a book of tattoo artists that specialize in tattooing Grateful Dead imagery.

Our main goal at Cosmic Tattoos is to set you at ease and to give each person the best tattoo that we can give them. We believe that each client is just as important as the last, and should be met with an open mind. Whether you are looking for your first tattoo or a larger multiple-session custom piece we are here to serve you. We strive to keep our atmosphere welcoming and open and provide a kind and understanding experience for all. We offer both color and black and gray tattoos, fine line or bold. The tattoo parlor is an extension of who we are. We keep the space very clean and comfortable, going above and beyond what is required by the Health Department. We take pride in maintaining a safe and sanitary environment. Stop on in and have a look around!
